- Sale, Hôtel Drouot, 28 and 29 October 1957, No. 378.
- René JOHNSON.
- Private collection since February 1959.
- PIASA Sale, Hôtel Drouot, May 30, 2008, No. 195 (The sale slip and some documents attesting to the origin will be given to the buyer).
BUGEAUD's conservatism would suggest that this dejbidah would be more of a gift than a personal order. The most likely circumstance, during BUGEAUD's career in Algeria, to receive such a gift would be the signing of the Treaty of Tafna on 30 May 1837 with ABD EL KADER.
