Large, single-barrel, centerfire, external hammer, Snider system, breech-loading, tobacco-colored damascus ribbon barrel with partially legible inscription on top: "P. WEBLEY & SON LONDON", length 80.5 cm, caliber 19.5 mm; blued breech, small snuffbox, signed: "SNIDER PATENT"; burnished front lock, engraved with fillet, signed: "P. WEBLEY & SON"; fillet-engraved iron fittings, also burnished; walnut stock with short shaft, checkering on grip and shaft, oval silver thumbpiece; overall length 131 cm. Period, Great Britain, circa 1860/1880. Good condition. WEBLEY & SON Philip, Birmingham, 1859/1897.
