Oval-shaped 800 thousandths vermeil brooch featuring a miniature portrait of a person in military dress in a three-quarter bust, probably Louis XV. Mother-of-pearl back. The medallion surrounded by a floral frieze and surmounted by a 2-shell bow, the whole punctuated with half-pearls. Metal pin. Nineteenth-century work in the taste of the eighteenth century. Gross weight: 13 g. Dim: 5.1 x 3.7 cm.
