Pair of baluster-shaped covered vases with two openwork handles, ending in foliage and flowers. They are decorated on one side with large bouquets of flowers and roses by Redouté, and on the other side with coats of arms (Lorraine) on a background of thistles.
Rocaille bases enhanced with purple foliage and enhanced with gold. The lids end in floral scrolls.
On reverse, inscription KG Luneville "les faïenciers à Monsieur S CARNOT Président de la république
Fse 7 juin 1892". Background inscription LLLLK.
Late 19th century, circa 1892 (a chip to a flower on one lid).
