In-folio, red morocco, triple gilt fillet framing the boards, ornate ribbed spine, gilt edges (period binding). A frontispiece with a medallion portrait of Louis XIV after COYPEL, an ornate title, six ornate table leaves and 318 engraved plates. Edges and nerves rubbed; stains on spine; small tear not missing (f. 109) & restored tear (f. 238). COPY IN RED MOROCCO.
