Late 18th-century manuscript, approx. 464 pp. in one in-12 volume, red half-chagrin, spine ribbed (mid-19th c. binding). Manuscript calligraphed in brown, black and red ink (title & pagination), consisting of approx. 400 pp. followed by a "Table pour Les Remedes des chevaux" (12 pp.), a "Table pour les remedes des animaux" (12 pp.) & a "Table de ce qui est contenu en ce livre" (40 pp.). Binding rubbed; major loss restored to title page. MANUSCRIT OF A RHINE ARMY HEALTH OFFICER continued by another hand in the XIX th century (2 pp.).
