Eugène BOUDIN (1824-1898). - Lot 31
Eugène BOUDIN (1824-1898).
L.A.S., Deauville July 30, 1895, to his brother Louis; 2 pages in-8°.
Sends him a bill for 100 francs. "As for me, I'm very busy because of an exhibition in Trouville, and besides, I don't have a minute to lose: as soon as the wind becomes a little more manageable, I hurry off to the marines"... Since their return to Normandy, the weather has been less than favorable; "but perhaps you'd like a little rain for your garden". Are there any sailboats in Le Havre? "Not a single one in Trouville. Sailboats will soon be a thing of the past"...
