Flintlock infantry rifle converted to percussion model 1822 T bis, barrel with flats then round hallmarked: "M R", "R" and "M" crowned, caliber 18 mm rifled; breech tail marked: "1822 T bis"; lock stamped and signed: "Mre Rle de St-Etienne"; stamped iron fittings; walnut stock marked: "CHATELT" and, below: "CHATELLERAULT", "M" crowned and the label: "1838 - H... - M R"; iron ramrod; presented with a socket bayonet model 1822. Restoration period, Louis-Philippe. Very good condition.
