Two brocades, cream satin ground, gold and silver thread, with polychrome decor of wavy uprights decorated with flowering stems for one, flowers, rocaille and hunting horn for the other. 18th century arm weaving Provenance: Hamot collection (see Butterfly label) We enclose -a small red damask bag with embroidery depicting a pug and cat on a cushion on one side and three bees on fruit on the other (36x25cm), -and a lampas with a cream satin background decorated with flowering vases in oval reserves (124 x 128 cm).
