High soft kepi, probably from the Ecole Polytechnique, model 1836, in blue cloth, gold braid (worn), red and silver (or gold) piping, top adorned with a large passementerie button; square black leather visor lined with green morocco, inner basane headband completed with a 16 cm high leather muff. Louis-Philippe period, circa 1840. Very good condition
