Officer's sword, probably a geographer's sword, brass keyboard decorated with a seated divinity surrounded by the symbols of war and science, branch chased with laurels and a trophy of scientific instruments, oval pommel decorated with fleurons in laurel wreaths, fluted ebony spindle; blade engraved in thirds, signed: S. H. F; length 90 cm (without scabbard). Restoration period, circa 1825/1830. Good condition.
