Imperial Guard lancier's police cap in blue cloth, white braid and piping, the front embroidered with two crossed spears topped by the imperial crown in white thread, pompom also in white thread; inside in unbleached canvas, marked, on one side: "L. G.", "LANC", an imperial crown in front, "A 1317", and on the other side, in pen: "L ROZE"; it is fitted with flat leather chinstraps, held in place by a button. Second Empire period. Good condition.
