Commander's cross, 2nd class, of the Order of the Lion and the Sun in silver with diamond points, the six branches separated by a green enamel ray, enameled silver center representing the lion and the sun, cross surmounted by a radiant motif, diamond-pointed hoop, it bears, on the back, a fastening pin and the maker's mark: "LEMAITRE rue Coquillere n° 42 - FT D'ordres - PARIS"; green tie; width 65 mm, height 97 mm (without the bélière), gross weight 63.75 g. A smaller silver plate or cross of the same type with pierced diamond points, without fastening system, is attached, marked on the back "BOULANGER A PARIS"; width 63 mm, height 72 mm, gross weight 37.85 g. Early 20th century. Very good condition.
