Round miniature on ivory: portrait of an officer in a blue suit, gold buttons, reversible red collar adorned with gold embroidery, white tie, wearing a blue coat over it; presented under glass in a green shagreen case; diameter 66 mm. (The glass no longer holds, case damaged). Late 18th century, revolutionary period. Miniature in good condition. PROVENANCE: sale by Maître Ader, June 4, 2019, no. 87.
