Silver and silver-gilt BOUILLON COUVERT ET PLATEAU. PARIS, Jean-Baptiste POTOT, 1809-1819 (bouillon only). Model standing on a circular pedestal, the body flanked by two curved handles ending in an eagle's head. The circular gilded tray, hallmarked by another undetermined silversmith, is edged with a frieze of water leaves, as is the rim of the pedestal and the lid surmounted by an acorn-shaped grip. Numbered "5" below. Worn gilding. Height 11 cm; Width 16 cm; Diameter (tray) 19.2 cm; Total weight 636 g.
