Large in-8°, black morocco, wide brown suede binding on covers, smooth spine framed with multiple gilt fillets, gilt head, untrimmed, brown suede lining and endpapers, cover preserved in two states, folder and slipcase (P. L. Martin - 1966). One of twenty copies of the special edition for "Les XX", on arches vellum, this one (no. 1) signed by one of the authors. ATTACHED: a l.a.s. from Jérôme Tharaud with envelope, dated September 25, 1917. Spine faded. A FINE COPY IN A BINDING BY PIERRE LUCIEN MARTIN.
