In-4°, chocolate box, gilt fillet framing the boards, smooth spine decorated with a broken gilt fillet pattern with large mosaic title, gilt edges on witness, gray suede lining and endpapers, color illustrated cover preserved, folder and slipcase (P. L. Martin - 1960). Eleven color etchings by Jacques VILLON. Issued in an edition of 176 copies, this one (no. 143) being one of 150 on arches vellum signed by the artist. Copy containing two additional suites of illustrations, one on chine and the other on arches in sanguine; the first plate of each suite is signed. A fine copy in BINDINGS by Pierre Lucien MARTIN.
