Late 18th c. manuscript in one volume in-4°, olive morocco, triple gilt fillet framing the boards, fleuron at the corners, ornate ribbed spine, gilt edges (period binding). [I] blank f. + 230 pp. + [I] f. of "Table des Chapres" & [II] blank ff. Handwritten copy by Benoît Lesterp-Beauvais (1750-1793), of the work by Charles-Auguste de La Fare, (1644-1712), first published in 1715. Corners dulled: some spotting; small accident on spine.
