CARTIER ''JUSTE UN CLOU''. 750 thousandths white gold opening rigid bead bracelet. Signed, numbered MVB178, hallmarked by the master. Weight: 48.90 g. Wrist size: 18 cm. art. 524 bis al.c. Model created for CARTIER in 1971 by Aldo CIPULLO (1935-1984), a pioneering Roman jeweler expatriated to New York. Initially created in the United States, it was called a "Nail bracelet". It got off to a rocky start, having been launched two years after the iconic "Cartier Love" bracelet, also created by Cipullo. On the occasion of Cartier's 165th anniversary in 2012, a new collection gave it a well-deserved fresh start, and it was renamed ''Juste un Clou''. Finally, building on this new success, Cartier decided in 2017 to offer this model in earrings and necklaces.
