Small Montmorency infantry or national guard saber, three-prong brass hilt decorated with a hunting horn, Phrygian cap in the middle, openwork top, long-tailed cap, leather-covered fusée, watermarked; white blade with one hollow edge; length 82 cm. (No scabbard; one restored straw near the heel of the blade; hunting horn and Phrygian cap attached). Revolutionary period. Fairly good condition.
