REFRESHING BASKET in silver-plated metal. The flared body with gadrooned base is flanked by two handles with foliate rings and scrolled shell attachments. It stands on a circular pedestal decorated, like the upper edge of the body, with a frieze of foliate scrolls and stylized shells. Traces of repair inside (handle attachments), minor knocks. H. 21.5 cm; D. 22 cm.
