PAIR OF WINE CARAFES in crystal, silver and silver gilt (950). Paris, ap. 1838 (Minerve). The body is in crystal with pinched ribs. The neck, hinged lid and curved handle are in silver. Decorated with acanthus leaves alternating with canals, the leafy lid is topped by a flowery grip with bunches of grapes. H. 26.5 cm; total gross weight 2017 g.
