TWO silver BASKETS (875). Saint-Petersburg (Russia), PJS (Pekka-Adolf Johan SILVENTOINEN), 1882-1899, for one oval and 1898-1903 (hallmark 84 / assayer Yakov Lyapunov), for the other circular. They stand on a plain flared bowl, and the rim is decorated with twisted moldings with two braced lugs to secure the handle, also with twisted moldings (for the circular bowl). Handle variations. The body is engraved with an MCC? monogram. The inside of the circular bowl is gilded. Bumps and scratches. H. (circular bowl without handle) 7.5 cm ; L. (oval bowl) 23 cm ; Total weight 863 g.
