SILVER AND SILVER GOLDEN CAVIAR HOLDER BOX (875). Moscow (Russia), Maison OVTCHINNIKOV, 1892 (hallmark 84 / assayer AP ? (lid), eagle of Supplier to the Imperial Court of Russia). Of two-part ovoid form, standing on four feet with scrolls and palmette attachments. Removable openwork inside. The body is flanked by two supports with crested bird heads for the caviar spoon. The lid swivels thanks to lateral button lugs. Missing pins, broken side chains, no spoon. H. 17 cm ; W. 19 cm ; Weight 899 g.
