Infantry lighter saber model 1767, brass guard cast in two pieces, branch punched: "D" and "B" crowned, stamped: "49. A"; blade engraved on one side: "GRENADIER" and the trace of a grenade, and, on the other, the double: "L" interlaced, punched on the heel as on the branch of guard and signed on the back: "Mture Rle D'alsace"; leather scabbard model year XI with two brass trimmings; length 75 cm. Era Constitutional Monarchy (1791), Consulate. POINÇONS: "D", CABANNES, sub-inspector acting as inspector, from July 1791 to August 1792; "B", BISCH, controller of 1st class, from July 1783 to 1791.
