Officer's flintlock pistol, octagonal barrel slightly blunderbussed, thunder-stamped on all three sides: "L. C." in a rectangle and of Saint-Etienne on the left side, caliber 18 mm smooth; engraved tail of breech; flat-body lock engraved with foliage, hammer with swan neck; iron trimmings, cut out and engraved, oval cap decorated with a rosette; slightly carved walnut stock, squared handle; length 29,5 cm. (Missing the ramrod; slight crack on the left side, at the level of the rosette of counter-plate) First-Empire period. Good condition. "L. C." hallmark of Jean LECLERC, gunner in Paris.
