Sabre of sapper of navy infantry, of guard of the ports or the arsenals, guard out of melted brass, knot of body decorated, on each face, of a head of lion, octagonal quillons finished by a head of lion, smooth fuse with sides, finished by a head of cock crowing; blade slightly curved with hollow pan, punched: "B" in a circle (J. G. Bick, controller of 1st class of February 1809 to 1819) and: "A" surmounted of a star (J. F. ALPY, inspector from January to March 1812), another unidentified punch, it is engraved, on each face, of an anchor in slant and signed on the back: "Mfture Imple de Klingenthal avril 1812"; leather scabbard with two large brass trimmings, oval button cap on diamond-shaped base; length 89 cm. First Empire period, 1812 Good condition.
