Two ink stamps of the French colonial army in brass, handles in turned wood lacquered black, one of health officer of the navy (Indochina), manufacture of Schneider aîné in Hanoi, marked: "R D" and between the two letters an anchor corded with a caduceus; time around 1900; the other marked: "COMMANDANT PARTICULIER - KOTONOU", naval anchor strung in the centre, it is marked on the top of the handle, in red letters: "FORTIN 59 rue Nve des Petits Champs -Paris"; circa 1885; diameters 33 and 35 mm, height 11 cm. Very good condition. Kotonou, protectorate of Dahomey - establishment of the Gulf of Benin at that time
