Russian honorary saber guard of the Order of St. Anne in brass, with three branches, the two side branches bear the engraved dedication: "For Bravery"; long-tailed cap, decorated at the top with laurel leaves and, in the middle, in an oval, with the figure of Alexander III crowned (1845/1894), the top is decorated with a red enamelled St. Anne's cross; the top of the quillon bears the hallmark with the great arms of Russia and the maker's name, below it is numbered: "629"; wooden fuse covered with leather; it is presented with a system holding it in position. (Minor traces of gilding). Period, Russia, second half of the 19th century. Good condition.
