Set of six rare high reliefs in polychrome wax decorated au naturel representing : Molière during his last performance of Le Malade imaginaire; Voltaire three-quarter face in a wig and lace jabot; Catherine of Russia aged under her right profile, her hair tied up; Adrienne Lecouvreur, tragedienne during her play; Jean-Jacques Rousseau under his left profile and Frederic the Great in a suit topped with a tricorn and seated. They are each in a moulded and gilded baguette frame. Late 18th or early 19th century. (Accidents and restorations). Average dimensions : H : 22 - W : 16 cm
