Large octagonal game box, made up of three lacquered wooden elements with brown and gold background, exterior with stylized flower motifs and mõns treated in scrolls. The inside of the lid reveals two crowned cranes and their small one, one on a mound and the other flying near an umbrella pine and bamboos; one of the cranes is surrounded by two mõns. The base tray rests on an openwork tripod foot, its inside showing seven clams in painted lacquer or gilded trompe-l'oeil in slight relief. Meiji period (1868-1912) (some chips and lacks).
