History of the Roy's campaigns. In Paris, Chez l'Auteur & le Sr Vanheck, 1751. In-4°, red morocco, triple golden fillet framing the dishes, coat of arms in the center, ornate ribbed spine, gilded edges (Hardy-Mennil). Entirely engraved, preceded by a second title: The Campaigns of Louis XV the Beloved. Represented by allegorical figures, with a historical explanation, followed by 46 leaves, one of which is a dedication, 44 others with metal figures at the head and one table leaf. Second dish slightly insulated; cracked and fragile jaws; some freckles and wetness at the foot. EXAMPLE in MAROQUIN with the GUNS of Pierre de MORNAY-SOULT de DALMATIE (1837-1905).
