Large Paris porcelain vase from the first half of the 19th century, possibly Darte. Oval, resting on a moulded pedestal and a square base, with polychrome decoration, on the face of a representation of the Virgin and Child with Saint John the Baptist in a landscape, the reverse of an inhabited lakeside landscape, in rectangular gold reserves engraved with plant friezes standing out against a gold background engraved with shields with mascarons between two large palmette friezes on the pedestal and neck, two cracks restored on the body H: 58.5 cm The scene represents The Virgin with the Veil after Raphael, kept in the Louvre Museum.
