Michel Étienne (1772/1815), general killed at Waterloo. It is he who would have launched "the word of Cambronne". Piece signed as colonel of the foot grenadiers of the imperial guard. Certificate of presence of Sieur Charles Jacques, grenadier fifre in the 1st regiment of foot grenadiers; page partly printed, heading of the imperial guard; made in Courbevoie on December 14, 1810; several signatures including that of Ritter lieutenant adjutant major wounded at the battle of Essling in 1809 and of colonel Michel brigadier general on June 24, 1811, division general on November 20, 1813. Attached is a printed document from the Grand Chancery of the Legion of Honour concerning the salary assigned to the rank of chevalier to Mr. Gérard, for the year 1833, appointed officer in 1834, document dated February 4, 1834. Good condition.
