Small gouache watercolour, round : Allegory representing the Emperor Napoleon 1st standing, from the back, on the island of Sainte-Hélène, looking at the sea and the ships, on the horizon the sun of Austerlitz and, on his right, on the rock, the willow of the tomb, square frame in black lacquered wood, gilded brass ring with guilloche pattern, diameter 7 cm. Circa 1840. Very good condition.
