Black-figure Hydra representing a rod led by a bearded charioteer wearing a long white tunic, and acosted by a bearded man holding a sceptre. At the front legs of the horses is a dog. In the upper register is a race of three horses led by naked riders holding spears. Behind them a bearded man raises his hand and holds two spears. The frame of the painting is composed of ivy leaves, alternating red and black half-openings and a frieze of lotus buds. The collar is painted with opposite palmettes around a chain of circles.
Orange terracotta with black glaze, bistres and white highlights. Old restorations, restored handles, plugs, repainted on the neck and belly.
