Cavalry officer percussion pistol model 1833, second model, octagonal barrel slightly misleading, in tobacco-coloured damask ribbon, stamped on the left side: "F" and "C" in elongated octagons and dated: "1854"; breech tail jaspered with a sighting member; back plate jaspered, stamped: "J" starred and signed: "Mre Imple de Châtellerault"; cut and jaspered iron fittings, oval cap with ring provided with a receptacle containing a pod; walnut stock, checkered handle; iron rod with brass tip. Second Empire period. Very good condition.
