Percussion rifle model 1842, known as "Orléans rifle", barrel with sides then round punched: "C", "G" a star on both sides, "D", stamped: "36" and dated: "1843"; breech reported with narrow chamber carrying the rise, stamped: "D" crowned; calibre 17,5 mm striped; punched lock: "D" crowned, signed: "Mre Rle de Châtellerault"; iron fittings, beaked stock heel; punched walnut stock, worn out macaroon, and stamped: "36"; iron rod slightly dug at the end and pierced with a hole; it is presented with its bayonet, blade signed: "Mre Impale de Châtt mars 1861 - S. B. Mle 1842", brass handle, iron guard, with a sheath. Louis-Philippe period. Very good condition.
