Patent of musket of honor given by the First Consul Bonaparte to the citizen Goubert Jean-Charles, brigadier in the 7th bis of hussars, given in Paris on 4 pluviôse year XI, for: "The affair of 7 thermidor year VII, in Aboukir in Egypt, where he penetrated in a redoubt, took a piece of cannon and killed several cannoniers". Piece on parchment partly printed with vignette: "Bonaparte 1er consul de la République", dry stamp; signed: "Bonaparte", by Alexandre Berthier and the secretary of state Hugues Maret; gilt frame with passe-partout; 34,5 x 42,5 cm. Consulate period. Very good condition.
