Strong English navy flintlock horn, bronze barrel, octagonal on the half and round, strongly trombloned, length 44 cm, calibre at the end 41 mm; round-body lock engraved: "G R" crowned, at the rear: "GRICE" and dated: "1761"; military-style brass fittings; walnut stock with strong busc; iron rod; total length 84 cm. Period, Great Britain, second half of the 18th century. Very good condition. They were probably John and William GRICE, Birmingham, around 1743, or William GRICE, around 1766/1777.
