Rare pair of flintlock pistols, white polished barrels with two registers, with sides and rounds, length 39 cm, caliber 13,5 mm; round-body locks engraved on the back of a man's head surrounded by foliage and signed: "Aubertot in Geneva", swan-neck dogs; iron fittings, cut-out counterplates engraved with a hound and a fantastic animal, the front of the bridges is pierced and engraved with foliage, oval to thin and long tails extending to the back of the plates; walnut burr sticks; blackened fruitwood sticks, finished with an iron pellet; total length 55.5 cm. (Slight cracks in the barrels; posterior rods). Period, Switzerland, Geneva, circa 1661/1670, very good condition. Abraham AUBERTOT, arquebusier in Geneva, 1661/1670, student of Jacques BESSON in 1661.
