Fine Wines, Champagne and Spirits - Exceptional LEDRU champagne set

On June 25, Thierry de Maigret will present a series of cuvées by Marie-Noëlle Ledru direct from the estate, many of them disgorged for the occasion, as well as two never-before-marketed cuvées. This famous Champagne estate, celebrated by all the specialist guidebooks, is located in one of Champagne's finest villages, Ambonnay Grand Cru, the Pinot Noir kingdom of the Reims mountains.

Marie-Noëlle Ledru has always vinified powerful, racy, expressive wines, but with a kind of magic in their balance and depth. Widely regarded as one of the finest winemakers of her generation, she has delighted the most demanding connoisseurs with her gourmet wines. Most of the wines presented for sale were disgorged between March and April 2024, keeping them extremely fresh despite their sometimes venerable age. A few extremely rare magnums and jeroboams complete the range.

We can't talk about this estate so identified with Pinot noir without mentioning two totally original cuvées: a rosé de saignée, lively, colorful, complex and tannic, and the estate's unknown, a blanc de blancs d'Ambonnay, a micro-cuvée that Marie-Noëlle Ledru had carefully preserved to bring it to the desired maturity. This never-before-seen piece should delight collectors curious about exceptional wines! The Thierry de Maigret auction house is delighted to be able to put this exceptional terroir in the spotlight, through its finest ambassador. The sale will take place in Paris on Tuesday June 25 at 2:15 pm, and will be followed by a fine sale of mainly Bordeaux and Burgundy wines.

After one month from the date of sale, a storage fee of €15 per lot per month will be charged.
