Non-commissioned officer's saber-briquet model 1767/82/86, probably for the navy, one-piece bronze hilt, limb signed "COULAUX"; blade with one hollow edge and counter-edge ending in a carp tongue, engraved with Cassaignard-style Turkish decoration; length 74.5 cm. (No scabbard; some pitting on the blade; traces of varnish). Late 18th, early 19th century. Good condition.
