British naval officer's dagger, gilt-bronze crossed with inverted quillons, with chain, mounts engraved with an anchor, long-tailed cap terminating in a lion's head, ivory spindle, filigree; flat curved blade, white polished; leather scabbard with three gilt copper fittings; length 42.5 cm. (Some pitting on the blade). Period, Great Britain, circa 1800/1810. Good condition
