Mauser rifle model 1871/84, barrel with sides then round, burnished, well punched: "F W" crowned and : "SPANDAU" crowned, numbered: "3948" and caliber: "10.95", length 80 cm, caliber 11 mm; white polished breechblock, hallmarked and with the same number, marked: "Mod 71/84" and dated: "1887"; burnished iron fittings; superbly hallmarked walnut stock; iron ramrod; overall length 130 cm. It is presented with a saber bayonet to the model, with its leather scabbard with two brass fittings. Period, Germany, 1887. Very good condition, near new for the rifle, saber-bayonet in good condition.
