Dreyse model 1841 infantry rifle with needle, barrel with sides then round, well punched and : "F W" crowned, numbered: "726", length 90.8 cm, caliber 15.43 mm rifled; breechblock marked: "SPANDAU" surmounted by the Prussian eagle and, on the other side, numbered: "1857" and, smaller: "1859", all polished white; brass fittings fixed with pivot pin, trigger guard with finger rest, stock heel stamped: "I R. 58 J", iron grips; walnut stock with traces of hallmarks; iron ramrod; overall length 142.5 cm. Period, Prussia, 1857/59. Very good condition
