Gendarmerie rifle model 1874, Gras, barrel with sides then round, blued, with bayonet stud, hallmarked: "P C", "M" and "J" in circles, "M A", dated: "S 1876" and numbered: "F 2807"; breechblock marked: "MANUFACTURE D'ARMES ST-Etienne MLE 1874 - M 80"; brass fittings hallmarked; walnut stock hallmarked with macaron: "M - S - JANVIER - 1878 - M A", numbered en suite. It is presented with a model bayonet, blade signed: "Tulle juin 1873", iron scabbard with another number. Third Republic period. Very good condition for the rifle, fair condition for the bayonet.
