Model 1874 infantry rifle, known as "Gras", blued barrel with sides then round, stamped: "S" and "R" in a circle, "J H" and "M A", dated: "C 1883", numbered: "A C 64998", caliber 11 mm; breechblock stamped and marked: "MANUFACTURE D'ARMES CHATELLERAULT - MLE 1874 - M. 80"; stamped burnished iron fittings; walnut stock bearing the same serial number with label: "FEVRIER - S - 1883 - R C - M A". It is presented with a bayonet of the model stamped: "F 53309", blade signed: "Mre d'Armes de St-Etienne Xbre 1878", blued scabbard bearing another number; with its leather scabbard-holder. Third Republic era, 1883. Very good, near-new condition
