Type 1855 staff officer's percussion pistol, privately made, superimposed damascus steel barrels with tobacco-colored ribbon, length 16.2 cm, caliber 18 mm hair rifled; white polished steel breech and tang, fully engraved with foliage; two rear locks entirely engraved with foliage, as well as the hammers in succession; double trigger tail; iron fittings also engraved in succession, round cap with compartment, fitted with a ring at the rear; checkered veined walnut stock; overall length 32.5 cm. (Wear at the end of the stock, on one side, on the lower part, at the level of the ring). Second Empire period. Very good condition.
