Oval, gilt-bronze commissaire des guerres badge in the shape of a glory, blue-enameled centers on both sides, surrounded by a wreath of green-enameled foliage, marked on the obverse in gold letters: "COMMISSAIRE DES GUERRES" and, on the reverse: "RESPECT A LA LOI", fluted ring; height 51.5 mm, width 41 mm. (Missing enamel on obverse). Revolutionary period. Good condition.
